PIPE FREEZE PROTECTION
OVERVIEW
This is a product based on i.MX RT1064
- Temperature sensor: monitors ambient temperature
- Heat tracing cable: heats the insulated pipe, prevents the liquid from freezing
- Ambient temperature above the set-point (3-5°C / 35-40°F): heat tracing system is OFF, fluid flows through the pipe.
- Ambient temperature drops below the set-point (3-5°C / 35-40°F): controller switches heat tracing system ON
- It then raises the alarms locally and posts this data to the distribution panel through Modbus & MQTT
